WHAT WAS I DOING BEFORE I CAME TO RADIUS?
Before working at radius, I bounced around a lot, lets put it that way. I was a history major in college, I was waiting tables, I did a tour in Afghanistan in the army. I came home and I was waiting tables at the same restaurant from college, and I ended up waiting on one of the owners of radius and her husband. She asked me what I was doing, and I told her I was sending out resumes. She said, "why don’t you come work for me?". Sixteen years later, I'm still here.

WHY DID I COME TO WORK HERE?
During the mortgage meltdown, 2006, 07 08 09, when all these mortgages companies and banks all over the world were going out of business, radius stood tall. not only did we withstand the storm, we actually grew. They treat us fairly, they pay us fairly, and they create a support structure so the salespeople can deliver on the promises they make, and the end of they day, thats really the most valuable thing. 

HOW HAS RADIUS CHANGED MY LIFE?
The job allows me creativity; I'm my own boss, I can grow my business the way that I want to. Additionally, I went to school to be a history teacher, I love teaching. Being an loan officer allows me to do that. A new client comes to me and they know nothing about mortgages, they know nothing about the home buying process, and I can teach them that process so that at the end of the day when they're in that house and in the mortgage that they know everything about, they're comfortable. If that happens, I know I did my job.
